HUD SC2 Fellowships: Twitter Town Hall Tuesday

On Tuesday, February 28 at 3:30 p.m. EST, HUD Secretary Shawn Donovan and Erika Poethig, HUD’s Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy Development, will host a Twitter town hall to launch the Strong Cities, Strong Communities (SC2) Fellowship Program, which is being implemented by a partnership including GMF, Virginia Tech, and Cleveland State University.

During the meeting, Secretary Donovan and Deputy Assistant Secretary Poethig will share details on how to apply for this new fellowship opportunity. Selected fellows will be part of the next generation of innovative leadership in the 6 SC2 communities & regions (Fresno, CA; Chester, PA; New Orleans, LA; Memphis, TN; Detroit, Mi; and Northeast Ohio).

The event will be streamed live on HUD’s website, and Twitter users will be able to ask questions in advance and during the Town Hall using the hashtag #AskSOHUD. More details about the town hall can be found in a post on the HUD blog by Deputy Assistant Secretary Poethig.
